About the Captain!

Capt. Joe Costadura is a flats fly fishing and light tackle fishing  guide in South Florida in the areas of Biscayne Bay, the upper Florida Keys and Florida Bay and is a licensed fishing guide for Everglades National Park. Captain Joe Costadura has been fishing the waters of South Florida since the age of 4! Captain Joe specializes in hunting the flats of Bisacyne Bay and the upper Florida Keys for Tailing Bonefish, Tarpon,Permit, as well as Snook, Redfish and Seatrout on the flats of Florida Bay! Capt. Joe started his fishing career catching Bluegills and Bass in the lake behind his Grandmothers house, and then catching his first Snook at age 8, by that time his parents knew he was hooked and bought him his first serious outfit, and old Pflueger Spinning rod combo! By the time he was in high school he was fishing the piers and bridges of South Fla for Snook and Tarpon, and soon after picking up a flyrod for the first time, he hasn't put it down since! When his old childhood friend bought a flats boat and they took to exploring the Bonefish flats of Biscayne Bay the adventure really began! Since then he has concentrated most of his time fishing the flats and backcountry of Biscayne Bay, the Florida Keys, and Everglades National Park a.k.a Flamingo! Now he is very happy sharing the knowledge and passion for the sport of saltwater flats fly and light tackle angling  he has aquired over the years to all of his clients and making sure that their time on  the water fishing  from Biscayne Bay to the Florida Keys and Flamingo is just as memorable as his was!
